Canadian cannabis laws vary by Province. In Ontario, the legal age to buy, consume and grow recreational cannabis is 19. The maximum amount that can be carried in public is 30 grams of dried cannabis. Buying edibles is currently still illegal, although there is the option of creating your own food and drinks at home. Ontario residents are legally permitted to grow up to four plants per household. The Ontario Cannabis Store (OCS) is currently the only place where cannabis products may be legally purchased, although this is subject to change in April 2019.
